A fluffy blanket of velveteen snow covers the charming brick buildings of downtown Minneapolis;
Warm and cozy in my hotel bed, I gaze at the flickering lights that peek out from under the porcelain powder;
People wrapped in Arctic gear scurry from shop to shop, they look like bears gathering food.
I chug my hot coffee, smile, and remember how fortunate I am that my classes are in the ballroom downstairs: I don’t have to leave this building.
