America's Favorite Holiday...

Is not Christmas, Easter or even Independence Day––it's The Super Bowl.
I wouldn't be surprised if more people prayed today than on any other day.
I"m joking.  But not really.

GAYme Day!

For me, the Super Bowl is all about food and men in tight white pants.
The commercials and half-time show are like bonus treats.
I fully intend on overeating, while watching "tough guys" fight over balls-
It's funny how such a "macho" sport beloved by millions is so #GAY.
#MenInTights just like #Ballet...

September

Another summer comes to an end.
September is upon us;
Fall,
Back to school,
Pumpkin Spice lattes,
The daily grind,
Football games,
Layers of clothing,
The brisk chill in the air,
The smell of fireplaces at night.
Before long we'll be hearing Christmas music playing in drugstores!
Oh yeah, and rent is due!
Happy September

Fall Is In The Air...

The sweet crisp smell in the air.
Twilight comes sooner than you expect-
It reminds me of the start of a new school year,
Those days are long gone.
But the magic remains-
Every sports bar on every corner is jam packed with cheering football fans.
It's hard to resist the roar of the crowd!
Or the taste of a fresh draft beer.
Fall is in the air!

Football, Friends and Food!

Sun is golden, skies are blue;
Crisp chill in the air, just to remind you it's fall.
Carpool to the stadium with friends,
Taco trucks, gourmet burgers and cocktails-
the tailgate parties are more like parking lot stadium bistro's.
Funny stories, crazy competitions and old school networking...
The spirit of USC is in the air.
Kick-off.
We tipsily make our way into the coliseum.
More drinks?
Of course.
Football, friends and food!
I love Saturdays.

Game Day!

Super Bowl XLIV New Orleans Saints vs. Indianapolis Colts
Did you know that one of my best friends Amy Claire is from Louisiana and LOVES football and is going to watch this game with the same enthusiasm as a little girl opening a Barbie Doll on Christmas Day?
Did you know the only reason I really go to Super Bowl parties is for the chips and dip... and the half-time show? ...and the alcohol.
Happy Super Bowl Sunday! Go Saints!
