Collaboration

Welcoming the opportunity to join forces in creativity, wisdom, strength and quality––to yield a more polished product.
A successful use of talent; an enlightened way to work.

Oh Shoot!

Life on set gabbing with artists;
Sex talk at the craft service table,
Poop talk between takes—
I'm not sure who is more explicit:
The crew or the talent.

Gratitude

I feel blessed knowing that I can follow my dreams beside a person I love;
I realize how fortunate I am to be able to wake up each day and pursue a career that I’m still passionate about; through hard work, Faith, and the support of my family and friends––I continue to journey closer to the peak.
Not everyone has the opportunity that I’ve had.
I am grateful.

Confidence

A confident person walks into a room with vibrance and an open mind;
A cocky person walks into a room and drains it of all its creative energy.

Sad Day for the Music Industry

Whitney Houston passed away today.
Sadly, for me it comes as no surprise.  Still, it is heartbreaking.
Talk about a tragedy~
Her talent was enormous.  Unfortunately, so was her fame.
I'm not a celebrity, but I can only imagine how easy it is to get lost in "YesLand."
Anyone that watched the Oprah interview last year could see that Whitney was still in pain and most likely on drugs.  It was a cry for help on national television, and not even Oprah called her out on it.
Talent. Ego. Fame. Money.
It can be a lethal combination.
I'm devastated that Whitney had so many people who loved her, but clearly not enough to convince her to get help, so that she might love herself.
Sad day in music.
