Hiking through the canyons of LA I realized;
I love nature,
I don’t like rocks in my shoes,
Jackhammers are twice as loud at 8am,
And it’s better to stretch before a three mile hike––unless you enjoy muscle spasms.

A Trip To The Huntington Library
Waves from the Zen rock garden carry tranquility,
Encouragement jumps from original manuscripts by Chaucer,
Passion smeared across canvas,
Beauty in every direction; history sounds me.
The water fountains provide a baptism for inspiration.

Nature and Starbucks
Little bird chirps,
Hopping around from table to table scooping up crumbs.
I sip my venti caramel macchiato-
There's so much gooey caramel it drips onto the ground.
Delicious!
I love mornings in nature.
AKA as sitting outside at Starbucks.
