The expiration date is near.

If you don't enjoy the fruit while it's fresh,

It just turns into a shriveled mess-

And so I say good bye to Fruit of the Loom,

It was a fun gig,

But it's time to return to the life of microfiber!

The people stare and laugh,
"How degrading!" they whisper while they pose next to me for a photo op...
Yes, almost as despicable as you trying to feel me up in a grape costume!

On our feet the whole day-
Smiling for flashbulbs,
Laughing at the same terrible jokes;
They think they're being original.

My bags are packed, my boarding pass is printed and my ride is ready to go!
I'm off for my first (of several) gigs out of LA for the Spring season...
Today is extra special, because I will be flying into Colorado Springs, CO-

What makes Colorado so special you ask?
Well, aside from me... everyone in my family lives in CO!
So tonight, before the long weekend of work and no sleep, I get to have dinner with my dad and his wife and my Grandma Shaffer!
I think we'll have Mexican food!
...it's the little things in life that mean the most. (I'm talking about my seeing my family, not eating the Mexican food...)
