Monday Madness

Errands to run,
Laundry to do,
Monday's in LA can feel like a zoo-
Traffic is stopped like a parking lot,
It's the daily grind...
Oh, coffee sounds good!
Quick trip to Starbucks,
It's my favorite spot!

Work, Work, Work.

When you don't have a day job,
There are no set rules...
You'd think that would be a good thing?!
Not at all.
Because there is no defined structure,
One tends to feel obligated to "take action" or "do something" the minute you think of a project or task that needs to be completed.
Translation:
Waking up in the middle of the night to go to your office to add the final touch to that pitch proposal!
...which means no sleep last night, and yet here I am, back in my office working!
Some call it "independent contractor,"
I call it: "around the clock hustler."

Friday Night Break.

Hustle, Hustle, Hustle!
Non-stop work-
Creative energy flowing,
Mind always engaged.
Time to take a moment,
Balance is key.
Friday night is here!
Release and don't feel guilty~

Cater or Sell a Kidney?

The options are running thin-

This is not an easy path.

Producing quality content that people enjoy watching takes more than passion.

It takes a lot of money!!!

The constant battle to create and still make ends meet.

No matter how long you've been in the business,

days like this SUCK!

Still-

I'd rather be broke and hustling,

Than working sixty hours a week at a miserable, soul sucking job!

Either way I'm going to die one day...

At least I'm having fun on my adventure.

(MOST of the time.)

And look at the bright side, if you can't afford to eat-

Think of how skinny and awesome I'll look on camera!

Ugh, the life of an artist.

SO unglamorous.

I'm ready for my sixteen year investment to pay out!

Where do I start?

For every email I respond to, four more bounce in-

Grab the iPhone and begin cold calling! ...that's ALWAYS a pleasure! (Sarcasm)

It's not even 10 AM and I'm already behind schedule.

Plan for rehearsal.

Say "yes" to another gig choreographing (even though I don't have the time.)

Pre-pack my bags for another weekend of the glamours life as an adjudicator for Starpower.

Prep for production on our next parody...

The hustle is never ending!
