I finished the job, WELL I might add...
So why haven't I been paid?
As a small business owner, I'm always disappointed with companies that don't value their Independent Contractors.
Don't mail me the check, hand it to me when I finished the job you asked me to do.
It's just good business!

Mental Wondering

I've got a lot on my mind.
No matter how hard I try,
My ability to "release" has been suspended.
Missing gram,
Getting married,
Spending the past month working away from home,
Setting up meetings,
Planning a fall work schedule,
Stressing about what's next,
Angry that I can't seem to achieve balance right now,
Upset that I'm angry.
The choice to release all of this and trust in my FAITH remains,
Yet I continue to drown myself deeper the pool of thoughts in my mind.
I need a life preserver from my mental wondering!

PAID!

The glorious feeling I get from paying bills.
That wonderful moment when you realize you don't owe anything...
At least for the 16 days before the next bill cycle!
Money coming in, makes money going out, a little easier to swallow.
Work, work, work... Bills, bills, bills.
That's life!
