That's A Wrap!

We wrapped on an awesome new project last night;
I love when dance and television collide,
Intelligent Latin women, full of passion and talent...
It doesn't hurt that they're all gorgeous!
We got what we needed from them,
Now the real work begins-
The most important part of the story:
Editing.
Ugh. It's a thankless job, but it has to get done.
Let's sell a show!

It's Go Time!

The work is done.
Blood, sweat and tears, poured into endless hours of writing, shooting and editing.
Today, preparation meets opportunity...
It's time to close the deal!

So LA!

Creative meeting at Starbucks in West Hollywood,
Development meeting at Aroma Cafe in Studio City,
Hike in Beverly Hills,
Production in Hollywood,
Dinner party with friends at home-
A full day of meetings with LA peeps.
So LA.

LONG Day!

Up too early,

Shot all day,

Accident in the car,

And now I'm ready to call it a night!

It was a VERY long day in LA!

I Love Production Day!

Waking up early sucks,

But the adventure that follows is awesome.

Hair and make-up,

Running lines, 

Camera blocking,

ACTION!

And of course my favorite... Craft services!

Don't forget; lighting, sound, cameras, editing, props, etc, etc, etc...

There's a ton of shit to do-

But the end product is always so sweet!

A Grave Production?!

Up at 7am-
Full day of work.
Then-
Shoot begins at midnight.
Up until 7 am!
Talk about a graveyard shift!

ReconNEcT Working! Week 9

This week I'm reaching out to a new contact we made in the industry.
He's a talented man, with an arsenal of wisdom and resources!
...and he LOVES what we do at A Group Production.
Hopefully this "old fashioned" note will make a nice follow up impression!

Meetings, Production, PR... Oh My!

Up at the crack of dawn,

Ready for a full day.

Morning meetings, 

Creatively peeking the interest of “suits.”

Wrap up meeting with manager,

Followed by pre-production work,

With enough time for a “power PR” lunch meeting.

It’s not even 3 PM and I’m ready to go to sleep!

All in an LA days work…

A Marriage Made in Xenu!?

It's official!
Arguably the most talked about and absurd marriage in Hollywood history is ending!!!
Insiders close to Tom Cruise have always insisted that Tom "loves" Katie, and that their marriage was not a Hollywood power play, arranged by the "church" of Scientology...
After all, nothing says "love" like a five year contract.
Or what about the (alleged) fact that Tom has divorced each of his wives at the tender age of 33?
Perhaps because that's when their boyish looks start to fade-
Whatever the reason, Katie and Tom are calling it quits.
I seriously doubt if anyone on this planet or Xenu for that matter is shocked...
Still, I can't resist to repost the parody that we at A Group Production shot just last month!
Who knows? Maybe our video was the antidote that Katie needed after watching all of the brainwashing videos she was shown when she joined the "church" of Scientology?
