A New Day In LA

Golden slivers pierces through my window;
Enticing me to separate from the warmth of my cozy bed.
Awake the day with coffee and conversation,
Mind fresh, gratitude plentiful, and endless possibilities.

Yoga Is Life

Yoga is the breath;
Body, soul and universe––
My life is balanced.

Life Goes On

Past the storm, calm waters.
Not much damage to report;
Bright skies lead the way.

The birds are chirping,

It's too early to wake up!

The Adventurous Squirrels in our Trees

I wake up each morning and gaze out our bedroom window.
It's not instantly noticeable in our treelined view,
But if you wait just a moment you'll get such a thrill.
Adventurous squirrels swing from tree to tree,
Dancing around and leaping with glee.
They balance on the wires,
They climb to with such ease,
These squirrels are more fun than watching a flying trapeze!

Saturday In LA... a Poem.

I'm not on the road,
I'm in LA!
Spending my weekend without work,
just PLAY!
A weekend off is a nice change of pace...
But don't get to used to it,
Next weekend, I'm back in the race!

The Plumber Poem

Crack,  Drip, Spray-
LEAK.

The plumber came and cracked our tile,

Rain falling outside-

A slow and steady Sunday.

Didn't do typical weekend things today-

But it really paid off for me!

I had a good day,

But I'm somehow still hungry-

I'm just not sure if the undernourished feeling is from a lack of food.
